Responsibilities

 President

  • Schedule and preside over monthly Congregation Council  meetings and Annual Congregation Meeting
  • Create agenda and distribute to all Council members prior to meeting
  • Assign action items to council members
  • Sign contracts (e.g., rentals, loan documents) 

Vice-president

  • Assemble candidates for Nomination Team and Endowment  fund team
  • Supply Nomination team with the current slate needed and  provide team with responsibilities for each position
  • Propose 2 people to attend yearly Synod convention as at- large voting members

Secretary

  • Take meeting minutes at Congregation Council meetings  and Annual Congregation meeting with special attention  given to action on proposed motions
  • Distribute minutes at least 1 week prior to next meeting
